Celebrating Our Next Generation – World Parks Congress Fuse Project

As part of the school engagement programme WPC Fuse, secondary school students from across NSW visited the Congress on Friday 15 November 2014 to present the results of their research into Congress related environmental and sustainability issues.

Responding to ecological impacts of climate change on the Minnamurra Rainforest, and developing engaging programs for young people were among the issues they investigated.

The students then developed inspiring Love Stories videos to engage the wider community in their solutions to these challenging topics.

Their presentations to the Stream 8 (Inspiring a New Generation) ‘Inspiration Room’ at World Parks Congress were met with standing ovation.
