Senior Vice President, Market Transformation, WWF-US

Dr Jason Clay is Senior Vice President for Markets and Food at WWF-US focussing on agriculture, aquaculture, business and industry, finance, fisheries and forests. Dr Clay leads WWF’s efforts to work with private sector companies to improve their supply chain management and overall performance. In addition to his role at WWF, he was National Geographic's first ever Food and Sustainability Fellow. He also won a 2012 James Beard Award for his work on global food sustainability.

Over the course of his career he has worked on a family farm and at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, taught at Harvard and Yale, and spent more than 30 years with human rights and environmental organizations. Dr Clay studied at Harvard University and the London School of Economics before receiving a Ph.D. in Anthropology and International Agriculture from Cornell University.
